Hi! I'm Faith Burgess, the heart and hands behind Wonder Wood Floral.

My journey with flowers began in high school, when I found my passion for floriculture through FFA competitions. That passion led me to start Wonder Wood Floral during my junior year — and it’s grown right alongside me ever since.

Now, I’m a student at Iowa State University, majoring in Agricultural Communication with a minor in Entrepreneurship. While I continue my education, I’m also building a business rooted in creativity, passion, and love for my community.

At Wonder Wood Floral, I specialize in wedding and event florals, creating personalized arrangements that bring each vision to life. I also offer floral preservation, transforming cherished bouquets into lasting keepsakes. In the near future, I hope to expand into funeral work and other floral specialties.

Recently, I’ve started growing my own flowers — and I’m working toward building a small flower farm to supply Wonder Wood Floral with fresh, locally grown blooms. This is a big part of what will set my business apart: offering homegrown, thoughtfully arranged florals that are as meaningful as they are beautiful.

After graduation, my dream is to return to my hometown of Shullsburg, Wisconsin, and bring a fun, modern, and community-rooted floral business to the place I love most.
